The annual semiformal dance is coming up very soon, and this verse is one that I try to remember when I am getting a beautiful dress, fixing my hair, and doing my makeup.
"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."
1 Peter 3: 3-4

Anonymous, I don't personally agree with some of what the Bush administration has done, but I don't think I need to be expressing my opinion in this way. Thank you for the suggestion, but I will pass.
