They say that duct tape fixes everything. I always knew that it could work wonders on most things, and frequently made use of it in the past as a stage manager. I even found out at one point that it works on warts, which is quite a strange notion. But it apparently is also a tool for auto repair. A few nights ago at work, I pulled into the parking lot next to an old truck. This truck was badly dented on one side (no, I didn't do it!) and generally in a state of nearly falling apart. But never fear-- duct tape is here! There was actually a long strip of duct tape running from the top of the back left corner of the truck, running down to the bottom of the fender. It looked like it was literally holding the back of the truck in one piece. I guess that's a cheap and easy repair job-- either that, or duct tape strips are going to be the new speed stripes!
"Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together."
