Zen Habits: Simple Living Manifesto

Last fall, I was part of a Simple Living Experiment with my UM community at school and really appreciated the experience. I'm looking to get that group relaunched this fall, and have been doing some reading and research in preparation for that. The blog I featured earlier today, Zen Habits, is very helpful overall-- but perhaps the most helpful article I've read thus far on that site is the Simple Living Manifesto: 72 Ideas to Simplify Your Life. It links to other articles on that site and elsewhere that expand on the ideas, and provides some useful food for thought. What does "simple living" mean to you?
Also, the article linked to another simple living blog I'm going to be checking out called "Unclutterer" that seems helpful and interesting. I am looking forward to reading more.

Technology truly has become one with our daily lives, and I am fairly confident when I say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes cheaper, the possibility of uploading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.
